Bondurant and Elkhorn met on the softball field Thursday with BMS taking two games.
Bondurant won the A game 14-5, and the Lady Braves took the B game 18-4 at Sally Gaines Field.
Getting hits for BMS in the A game were Haley Harrod with a single and triple, LaKenzie Ritchie, Sydney Redmon and Olivia Smith each with two singles, and Sierrah Miley, Brandi Cook, Mikayla Cummins and Shelby McDonald each with a base hit.
Cook and Cummins pitched for Bondurant.
Elkhorn’s hits were a single and triple by Chandler Kelly, two singles each from Montana Muravchick and Jamie Beason, and singles from Mallory Cornish and Jamie Jordan.
Cornish and Katie Banta were the Lady Elks’ pitchers.
In the B game Allison Harrod had four singles for Bondurant. The team’s other hits were a single and double from Katherine Mangeot, a double from Julie Hill, and base hits from Molly LeCompte, Kristin McNees, Casey Anglin, Savannah Bechstein and Aubree Taylor.
Alexis True was the winning pitcher.
For Elkhorn, Danielle Hockensmith hit a double and single, Chandler Kelly singled twice, and McKenzie Burns hit a single. Katie Banta and Montana Muravchick pitched.

Mallory Cornish, Jamie Beason and Danielle Hockensmith each hit a single for EMS, and Katie Banta pitched. The Lady Elks were hitless in the B game.
On Friday the Lady Elks traveled to Winchester to take on Conkwright.
Conkwright edged EMS 11-10 in the A game, and Elkhorn was leading 2-1 in the B game when it was called due to darkness after 1½ innings.
The Lady Elks had 12 hits in the A game. Jamie Beason singled three times, Chandler Kelly hit a triple and single, Kaycee Purvis and Sydney Strickland each hit two singles, and Montana Muravchick, Mallory Cornish and Danielle Hockensmith each had a base hit.
Cornish pitched for Elkhorn.
Chandler Kelly and Montana Muravchick both singled in the B game, and Muravchick was pitching a no-hitter when the game was called.
Last Tuesday Elkhorn played Scott County at Sally Gaines Field.
Scott County won the A game 15-0. Mallory Cornish and Katie Banta pitched for EMS. The Lady Elks didn’t have a hit in the game.
Elkhorn did have six hits in an 11-5 loss in the B game. Chandler Kelly hit a double and single, Danielle Hockensmith hit a triple, and McKenzie Burns, Chloe Hammond and Madison Tipton each had a base hit.
Montana Muravchick and Banta were EMS’ pitchers.
