Track and Field: WHHS' Curlin, FHS' Jouett get top finishes at Dunbar meet

LEXINGTON – Western Hills’ Anna Curlin and Frankfort High’s Cailyn Jouett each won an event at the Dunbar Invitational track and field meet Saturday.

Curlin took first in the 400-meter dash with at time of 59.62 seconds, and Jouett won the shot put with a toss of 35 feet, 8 inches.

The Lady Wolverines were eighth in the team standings with 31 points, and FHS was 10^th with 23 in the 12-team field.

Dunbar’s girls won the team title with 117.5 points.

Henry Clay captured first in the boys team standings out of 13 teams with 196 points. WHHS was seventh with 30 points, and the Panthers were 12^th with five.
