Frankfort High’s softball team defeated Eminence 9-6 Friday at Bob Fannin Field.
The game was scoreless until the third inning when Eminence went ahead 4-0, but Frankfort came back in the bottom of the fourth with Macy Hutcherson, Shelby Aldridge and Aubrey Penn each hitting a double to bring the Lady Panthers within one.
FHS tightened its defense and continued getting hits to win the game 9-6.
Getting hits for the Lady Panthers were Hutcherson and Aldridge each with a double and two singles, Penn with a double and single, Sheree Brown with two singles, and Hannah Davis, Maya Burke and Taylor Addams each with one single.
Frankfort High plays at Lexington Christian Academy today and hosts Bardstown Friday.
