ELKHORN MIDDLE
Football meeting is Tuesday
The Elkhorn Middle School football program is having a meeting for all parents who were unable to attend the meeting in May and have children interested in playing for the Elkhorn Middle School football team.
Parents of all interested students who will be in the sixth, seventh and eighth grades should attend.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

Football clinic will be Monday
A receiver, running back and quarterback clinic will be held Monday, June 11 from 8:30 a.m.-noon for all those interested in playing for the Elkhorn Middle School football team.
The clinic is free. Those attending should report to the field behind the middle school.

GOLF
City tourney is June 23-24
The Frankfort City Championship will be June 23-24 at Juniper Hill Golf Course. The tournament is open to both men and women.
The entry deadline is Wednesday, June 20 at noon. The entry fee will be $25 plus applicable course fees.

City Jr. tourney set for June 26
The Chenault & Hoge City Junior Championship will be Tuesday, June 26 at Juniper Hill Golf Course.
The entry deadline will be Saturday, June 23 at noon, and the entry fee is $10.

Avenues for Women scramble is July 27
The Avenues for Women golf scramble will be Friday, July 27 at Juniper Hill Golf Course. The entry fee is $60 per person or $240 for a foursome and includes a complimentary lunch provided by Cattleman’s Steakhouse.
There will be prizes, food and a shootout the day of the tournament.
Check-in and lunch will be from 11-11:45 a.m., and the scramble will have a shotgun start at noon.
Hole sponsorships are also available at $100 per hole.
Avenues for Women is a state-licensed medical clinic which offers a wide range of free services for women and girls.
Avenues for Women is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
