Wolverines shut out Oldham

The Western Hills boys varsity soccer team defeated ninth-ranked Oldham County 2-0 Tuesday at Sower Soccer Field.  

The Wolverines dominated all phases of the contest.  Corey Rogers and Elma Nfor scored for WHHS and keeper Will Davis had several saves.  In the evening’s opener, the Western Hills junior varsity team played impressively but lost 3-1. 

Western Hills plays again on Thursday at Sower Soccer Field against Madison Central. The JV game begins at 6 p.m. and the varsity plays at 8.

On Saturday the WHHS JV and varsity teams will play at Mercer County at 6 and 8 p.m.
