Three-way tie for top spot at Gov.’s Open

The 48th annual Farmers Bank Governor’s Open teed off Saturday at Juniper Hill Golf Course.

The pro-am tournament started Saturday with both pro and amateur divisions. The second round will be played Sunday.

Adam Gary, Jesse Massie, Sean Moore, Jared Wolfe each shot a 32, which tied for the lowest gross in the pro division.

On the amateur side, Lloyd Brown leads the way with a 33 while Mike Damron, Logan Adams and John Bailey sit in a three-way tie for second at 34.

The tournament concludes today with the first groups going off No. 1 and No. 10 at 8:30 a.m. The final groups go off at 2 p.m.
