FCHS Notes: Franklin County is coming off of its second straight game with a running clock in the second half. FCHS coach Chris Tracy has been disappointed how the Flyers began the second half in both of their games. The Flyers won 46-13 over Western Hills, putting up some 300 yards of total offense. Chris Roberts led both teams in all-purpose yards with 135. Sophomore quarterback Barrett Sanderson completed four of his six attempts for 81 yards and two touchdowns. Franklin County forced five turnovers by the Wolverines. Sam Anderson led the Flyers in tackles with 5.5.

Notes: Oldham County enters this matchup off a narrow 31-28 loss to cross-town rival North Oldham last Friday. Oldham County trailed by 10 points entering the fourth quarter and scored a late touchdown to pull within three. The Colonels took to the air with James Harding and Ryan Grattan sharing quarterback responsibilities. Harding was 9-of-21 for 147 yards and one touchdown. Harding also had 20 yards rushing. Grattan threw 5-of-12 for 48 yards and one touchdown. Caleb Allen and Ross Gowing each rushed for touchdowns in short-yardage situations. Jacob Gary had two receptions for 51 yards to lead the receivers. Oldham County came away with 263 total yards on offense. Luke Collins led the defense with seven tackles.

FHS Notes: Frankfort is coming off of its open week last Friday and a tough 21-7 loss to Bullitt East. The Panthers had three missed scoring opportunities that left them in a 21-0 hole in the fourth quarter. Frankfort added a late score when sophomore quarterback Anthony Robinson connected on a 16-yard pass to Washington with 1:38 left in the game. Bailey Spade added the extra point kick. Robinson had 16 completions of 37 attempts for 160 yards and one touchdown and one interception. Jalen Washington had 62 yards on the ground and 64 yards receiving for one touchdown. Isaiah Jackson and JJ Jones finished with 13 tackles each to lead the Panther defense. Chris Brooks, Matthew Smith and Trey Winkfield each had a fumble recovery.

Notes: Green County enters this week off of a 48-0 romp over Washington County. Green County posted 301 total rushing yards and 164 yards through the air. Quarterback Weston McDermott completed five of his nine passes for 72 yards and two touchdowns. McDermott led the offense with 117 yards rushing with one touchdown. McDermott also was on the receiving end of a pass by Evan Jaggers for a 77-yard score. Jaggers also put up 114 yards rushing and two touchdowns. The Dragons recovered a fumble and intercepted a pass to shut out Washington County.
