Frankfort High football notched its first win of the season with a 28-5 victory over Green County Friday night at Sower Field.
The Panthers (1-1) scored on a pitch to Jalen Washington with 3:21 to play in the first quarter. Washington connected with Anthony Robinson on a pass for the 2-point conversion.
Green County tied the score 8-8 with a 17-yard run by Evan Jaggers with 25 seconds to play in first quarter. But that was the last score of the game for the Dragons.
JJ Jones ran 33 yards for score and then added a field goal by Bailey Spade for 18-8 advantage in third quarter.
Robinson's pass to Dre Scott for 59 yards sealed the victory for the Panthers.
