Bracken County's football team was no match for Frankfort High Friday night.
The Panthers rolled to a 78-0 victory over Bracken at Sower Field.
FHS, 6-2 overall and 2-0 in the district, scored five touchdowns in the first quarter with the defense playing a big role. Isaiah Jackson recovered a Bracken fumble and returned it for touchdown, and he set up a touchdown — this one on a pass from Anthony Robinson to Dre Scott — with another fumble recovery.
Jalen Washington returned a punt for a touchdown, and he scored on a pass from Robinson. The other touchdown in the first quarter came on a 3-yard run by senior McKinley Stonewall, the first touchdown of his career.
FHS cruised after that. The game went to a running clock midway through the second quarter and ended in less than 1 1/2 hours.
Frankfort will play for the district championship Friday at Eminence.
