The Franklin County Flyers baseball players and coaches visited the Simon House Monday. The Simon House is a nonprofit transitional living facility for homeless adult women who are pregnant or have children.
The team painted pumpkins and gourds with the children and distributed Halloween goody bags.
Members of the team who volunteered were head coach Kevin Goins, assistant coach Jeff Wilhoite, assistant coach Kris Trautwein, Alex McKinney, Blake Redmon, Alden Gatewood, Michael Clark, Bailey Goodwin, Evan Hutton, Logan Harp, Ben Bennett, Logan Gabbard, Michael Hurt, Kendall Brown, Ty Ellis, Nick Estill, Baylor Napier, Tanner Walker, Dawson Willis, Nick Wiltcher, Ben Sands, Zach Anglin, Joe Bunker, Jonathan Medina and Carlin Cassady.
