The Frankfort Parks, Recreation and Historic Sites Department has extended the sign-up period for the Ultimate Frisbee Frostbite League until 4 p.m. Monday.
The new co-ed adult league, over age 16, will play under the lights at Capitol View Park. Competition begins 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Sullivan Field. The season continues Tuesday evenings through Dec. 17.
“This is a great game for people who like a lot of activity,” said David Hughes, the league commissioner. “The object is to throw a Frisbee from one player to the next until a player catches it in the end zone.”
The registration fee is $25 and includes a team T-shirt. For more information or to download a registration form, see the Frostbite League website at http://www.frankfortparksandrec.com/Recreation/Ultimate_Frisbee/ultimate_frisbee.html or contact David Hughes at email@example.com.
Players can register in person at the Parks office at Juniper Hill Park or call the office at 502-875-8575.
