TENNIS
QuickStart program
starts Sunday

The Frankfort Tennis Association and the Frankfort Parks, Recreation and Historic Sites Department will combine to promote a new tennis program for players ages 5-10 with no prior experience necessary beginning Sunday.
The format for learning tennis, called QuickStart Tennis, is designed to bring children into the game by allowing them to start playing almost immediately, even if they’ve never held a racquet before.
Players will meet each Sunday at 1 p.m. through May 4 at Juniper Hill Park. Each 90-minute session will be divided into a coaching period and competition time on court.
Every player will receive a T-shirt, coaching, playtime and have USTA fees paid for existing members or receive a new USTA membership for a fee of $50.
Pre-registration is required. Parents can sign up at the Parks office at Juniper Hill Park. For more information, contact Sonya Harward at 502-500-5440.
