DISC GOLF
Free clinics offered

The Frankfort Disc Golf Association will offer two free disc golf clinics for beginning players Tuesday and April 15 at 6 p.m. at East Frankfort Park.

New players will learn the rules and terms of disc golf, practice driving and putting and play a round of disc golf with the instructors.

The free clinic, offered in cooperation with the Frankfort Parks, Recreation and Historic Sites Department, is designed to help new players get a head start in learning a game the entire family can enjoy, said FDGA president Greg Resor.

All equipment will be provided. New players can meet at the picnic shelter at the top of the hill at 6 p.m. to get started.
