Nathan Hale, 18, a senior at Franklin County High School, has signed to play soccer at Marietta College, an NCAA Division III school in Marietta, Ohio.
Hale has lettered in soccer for four years at FCHS.
Parents: Jack and Arnelda Hale.
Plans to major in: petroleum engineering.
Selected school because: petroleum engineering program and excellent opportunity to get a good education as well as be able to play sports.
Position played: center midfield.
Honors earned: junior varsity MVP, JV most assists, JV second most goals (2011), varsity 110 percent award (2012), varsity MVP, varsity most goals, varsity most assists (2013), all-district team (2013), all-county team (2013), academic all-state (2010-13).

He sees the field very well and he has amazing ball skills that he continues to work on. He is also a very good student and he will succeed in the classroom as well as on the field.”
