YOUTH FOOTBALL
FYFL events Saturday

The Frankfort Youth Football League will have signups from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Harrod Football Field at Capitol View Park.
Additional signups will be taken beginning at 4 p.m. at Jack Williams Pavilion at Juniper Hill Park. The cost is $100 per child.
There will also be a cookout at Jack Williams Pavilion, and the league will have a pool party from 8-10 p.m. at Juniper Hill.

GOLF
FCHS, WHHS girls hosting scramble Saturday

The Franklin County and Western Hills girls golf teams will host a scramble Saturday at Juniper Hill Golf Course.
The registration fee is $65 per person or $250 per team and includes green fees, cart and lunch.
Mulligans will be available at $5 each with a limit of two mulligans per player.
Sign-in will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday with lunch served from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
The scramble will have a shotgun start beginning at 1 p.m.
Prizes will be awarded, and there will be several door prizes available.
Hole sponsorships are available for $100.
Proceeds from the scramble will benefit the Franklin County and Western Hills girls golf programs.

CASA scramble is Saturday
The fourth annual Champions for CASA Kids Golf Scramble will be Saturday at Wild Turkey Trace Golf Course in Lawrenceburg.  
Registration begins at noon, followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m., and players will enjoy a meal and dessert after the scramble.
The cost is $50 per player or $200 per foursome and covers greens fees, golf carts, meal, a beverage, and a chance to win prizes.
All proceeds go directly to CASA of the Bluegrass, an organization that trains volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in the Family Court Systems of Anderson, Boyle, Franklin and Mercer counties.

RUNNING
Capital City Stampede Saturday

The Capital City Stampede 10K Run & Two Mile Walk will step off at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Capitol.
The races start and end in front of the Capitol. Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female participants, the top three participants in each group and the top three teams (minimum five runners per team). Trifecta series awards will also be presented after the Capital City Stampede.
Late registration is $25 and will take place at the Prevention Park YMCA (77 C. Michael Davenport Blvd.) until 6 p.m. today and at the Capitol steps from 7-7:45 a.m. Saturday. Packet pickup is also at these times.
Proceeds will go toward the Frankfort YMCA Annual Giving Campaign to help provide assistance to children and families so that they can participate in Y programs and events.

Speed/athletic camp set
A speed/athletic camp will take place Monday through Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Western Hills track and field facility.
The camp will be hosted by former WHHS head track coach Christian Adair.
