FRANKFORT HIGH
Fall sports pool party Tuesday
Frankfort High will host a fall sports pool party Tuesday from 8-10 p.m. at Juniper Hill.
The football team and girls soccer team will have player/parent/coach meetings during this time.

Boys soccer team starts practice Tuesday
The Frankfort High School boys soccer team will begin practice Tuesday from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Panther Athletic Complex (PAC).
All boys in grades 7-12 interested in playing should plan to attend.
In order to practice you must have a KHSAA approved physical form completed by your doctor and your insurance card attached.
Boys should bring water bottle, ball and shin guards.
There will be a parent meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the tennis court parking lot following practice. 
Following the meeting the boys and their parents are welcome to attend a swim party for fall sports at Juniper Hill swimming pool from 8-10 p.m.

BONDURANT MIDDLE
Football meeting is Monday

There will be a mandatory parent and player meeting Monday at 6 p.m. in the Bondurant Middle School cafeteria for any incoming sixth, seventh and eighth grade students interested in playing football at Bondurant.
Anyone interested needs to have an up-to-date sports physical.

GOLF
Avenues for Women scramble is July 25

The Avenues for Women seventh annual golf scramble will be July 25 at Juniper Hill Golf Course.
The entry fee is $260 for a four-person team or $65 for individuals.  The cost includes, cart, green fees and a complimentary lunch prior to play.  
The scramble will have a shotgun start at noon. Registration and lunch will be from 11-11:45 a.m.
Prizes will be awarded and mulligans, skirts and miniskirts can be purchased.
Hole sponsorships are available for $100.

Avenues for Women is a state-licensed medical clinic which offers a wide range of free services for women and girls.

Cross country practice starts Tuesday

Franklin County High School cross country practice will begin Tuesday at 9 p.m. Please meet at the FCHS track for the season kick-off practice event. 
All runners need to have an athletic physical before they can practice.

Soccer tryouts Tuesday
Franklin County High School boys and girls soccer tryouts for the 2014 season begin Tuesday from 8-10 a.m. at the practice fields at Lakeview Park.
All those interested in trying out must bring a current signed physical in order to participate.

Youth soccer camp this week
The Franklin County High School Youth Soccer Camp will be Monday through Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Lakeview Park.
The camp is open to boys and girls ages 5-12, and the cost is $80.
The guest coach will be Ken McDaniel of the Lexington Football Club.

Girls basketball camp this week
The Lady Flyer Basketball Camp will be Monday through Thursday at Franklin County High School from 8 a.m.-noon each day.
The cost is $70. Campers may register the first day of camp. For more information call Joey Thacker at 502-330-7323.
Volleyball tryouts Wednesday
Tryouts for the Franklin County High School volleyball team will be Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the FCHS gym. There will be a pre-tryout practice opportunity Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. 
A completed KHSAA physical and insurance form is required to try out.
ELKHORN MIDDLE
Football registration Monday

Registration for students who want to play football for Elkhorn Middle School is Monday in the school theatre (enter through the school’s front doors). 
A nonrefundable $85 participation fee is due at the time of registration. Please make checks payable to Elkhorn Middle School football.
Everyone needs to bring a copy of a current athletic (KHSAA) physical in order to participate.
Parents will be asked to fill out a consent to play, equipment loss and contact information form at the time of registration.
Eighth-graders will register at 5:30 p.m., and sixth- and seventh-graders will register at 6:30.
The first practice will be Tuesday from 6:30-8 p.m. Registration needs to be completed in order to practice.

WESTERN HILLS
Boys soccer tryouts this week

The Western Hills boys soccer team will have tryouts Wednesday and Friday from 3:45-5:15 p.m. at the WHHS practice field across from Bondurant Middle School.
Those trying out must have a completed KHSAA physical form.
