Flyers unbeaten in conference

SHELBYVILLE — Franklin County’s boys golf team remained undefeated in the Central Kentucky Bluegrass Conference with a 20-shot victory over Collins Wednesday at the Shelbyville Country Club.
FCHS, now 3-0 in the conference, shot 155. C.J. Jones led the Flyers with a two-under par 34, followed by Will Molen 39, Jacob Cook 40, Will Harnice 42 and Ben Nolan 43.
Jacob Feltner led the Titans, 0-3 in conference play, with a 42.
The Flyers host Scott County today at the Frankfort Country Club.
FCHS, WHHS lose on road

Franklin County and Western Hills’ volleyball teams lost on the road Wednesday.
Mercer County defeated WHHS 25-22, 25-20 in Harrodsburg. The Lady Wolverines (7-5) host Lexington Catholic tonight. The junior varsity match is at 5:30 with the varsity match to follow.
Bryan Station won at home 25-18, 25-16, 25-19 against Franklin County Wednesday. The Lady Flyers (1-5) stay on the road tonight, taking on district rival Woodford County in Versailles at 7:30.
Soccer teams hosting reunion Sept. 13

Frankfort High’s soccer teams are hosting a reunion for all former players Sept. 13 at Sower Soccer Complex.
The FHS boys team will play at 1 and 5 p.m. with the girls team playing at 3 p.m.
 At halftime of each game the former players in attendance will be recognized. Former boys players will be recognized during the boys games and former girls team members during the girls game.
All players are encouraged to bring friends and family and attend the games. Food will be provided for the afternoon.
