Hoping to help attract young professionals ages 21 to 40, the Frankfort Area Chamber of Commerce announced it is partnering with Commonwealth Credit Union to strengthening the talent pipeline and support the community’s future leaders.

“The dedication, high-energy and drive of the CCU marketing and community relations team are invaluable to the advancement of our Young Professionals program,” said Carmen Inman, president and CEO of the Frankfort Area Chamber. “CCU is engaging and thinking outside the box to help our YP program thrive, which shows in their new Young Professionals logo redesign.”

CCU team members spearheading this partnership are Bobby White, marketing and community relations manager; Jordan Cohen, community relations supervisor; Shelby Craft, digital marketing specialist; and Mary Handiboe, community relations representative.

The Young Professionals program was created by the chamber in 2016 and is currently setting its schedule for the year, which will include Yappy Hour, Jingle & Mingle and the ever-popular YP lunch meet-ups, according to Suzy Hosley, who is member services director and YP coordinator at the chamber.

“There is a lot of interest and energy generating with our program, and we want to capture the momentum to continue our upward move,” she added.
