Jim Henderson

Jim Henderson, who has served as deputy executive director of the Kentucky Association of Counties (KACo) since January 2018, has been named chief executive officer by the board of directors.

He will assume his duties immediately for the organization, which serves all of the state’s 120 counties.

“I look forward to working with county officials, legislators and executive branch officials to address the needs of Kentucky at the local level,” Henderson said. “In the end, we want to provide the best resources and services to our counties, and I am fortunate to have the opportunity to wake up every day to meet that mission.”
