The following people were indicted Tuesday by a Franklin County Circuit Court grand jury:

Forrest E. Metts, 36, of Frankfort, first-degree possession of methamphetamine, first offense, a Class D felony; possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor; and possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor.

James A. Hurd, 42, of Lexington, first-degree possession of methamphetamine, third or greater offense, a Class D felony; second-degree fleeing or evading police on foot, a Class A misdemeanor; and one headlight, a violation.

Kimberly Lynn Burton, 30, of Frankfort, first degree possession of heroin, first offense, and first-degree possession of methamphetamine, first offense, both Class D felonies, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.

Jan Witten, 40, of Frankfort, first-degree possession of methamphetamine, third or greater offense, and first-degree possession of heroin, third or greater offense, both Class D felonies.

Jamann Lavaugh Byrd, 36, of Nicholasville, first-degree possession of methamphetamine, first offense, and first-degree possession of heroin, first offense, both Class D felonies, and possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree hindering prosecution or apprehension, both Class A misdemeanors.

James A. Murray, 41, of Frankfort, theft by unlawful taking or disposition of $10,000 or more but under $1 million, a Class C felony; first-degree criminal mischief, a Class D felony; and second-degree persistent felony offender.

Austin Hollingsworth, 20, of Frankfort, theft by unlawful taking or disposition of an auto, more than $10,000 but less than $1 million, a Class C felony, and first-degree persistent felony offender.

John Brawner, 31, of Frankfort, receiving stolen property under $10,000, a Class D felony.

James D. Hockensmith, 34, no hometown given, receiving stolen property under $10,000, a Class D felony.

Lisa Mayewski, 54, of Frankfort, second-degree assault, a Class C felony.

Patty Hose, 26, of Frankfort, second-degree possession of a forged instrument, a Class D felony.

James M. Keith, 42, of Frankfort, theft by failure to make required disposition of property, a Class D felony, and first-degree persistent felony offender.

Stephanie M. Gianos, 40, of Frankfort, first-degree possession of methamphetamine, third or greater offense, a Class D felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.
