The following people entered pleas in Franklin County Circuit Court on Friday:
- Anthony Scott Woodward, of Frankfort, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled substance in the first-degree (heroin), Class D felonies, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor. The Commonwealth recommended a sentence of four years in prison. The Commonwealth took no position on probation as long as the defendant successfully completes drug court. A sentencing date was not set.
- Tiara Broce, of Frankfort, pleaded guilty to six counts of second-degree criminal abuse for a child 12 and under, all Class D felonies The Commonwealth recommends she be sentenced to five years. Broce’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for Jan. 10
- Wilson R. Cunigan, of Frankfort, pleaded guilty to one count of criminal attempt to possession of a controlled substance, first-degree, first-offense (methamphetamine), a Class A misdemeanor. The Commonwealth recommended he spend a year in prison and opposes probation. A sentencing date was not set.
