The following people were sentenced Friday in Franklin County Circuit Court:

• Samuel J. Allen, 22, of Elsmere, was sentenced to three years’ probation for two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, a Class D felony, and one count of third-degree terroristic threatening, a Class A misdemeanor.

• James M. Ethington, 30, no hometown given, was sentenced to two years’ probation for receiving stolen property (less than $10,000), a Class D felony.

• James D. Hall, 52, no hometown given, was sentenced to two years’ probation for first-degree possession of methamphetamine, second offense, a Class D felony; possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor; and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense, a Class B misdemeanor.

• David Rodgers, 48, of Frankfort, was sentenced to five years’ probation for first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a Class C felony; first-degree possession of more than 2 grams of methamphetamine, first offense, and first-degree possession of less than 4 grams of cocaine, first offense, both Class D felonies; possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor; possession of marijuana, operating a vehicle on a suspended or revoked license and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, first offense, all Class B misdemeanors; expired registration, improper display of registration, failure to wear seatbelt and failure to produce insurance card, all violations; and first-degree persistent felony offender.

• Douglas R. Martin, 34, of Frankfort, was sentenced to eight years in prison for three counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (4 grams or less cocaine), second or greater offense, a Class C felony.

• Allen J. Redmon, 23, no hometown given, was sentenced to a year of pretrial diversion for first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, a Class D felony, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense, a Class B misdemeanor.

• John W. Greene II, 49, of Frankfort, pleaded guilty to first-degree trafficking in heroin, first offense, a Class C felony; first-degree possession of heroin, third or greater offense, first-degree possession of methamphetamine, third or greater offense, and first-degree promoting contraband, all Class D felonies; possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree promoting contraband and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, second offense, all Class A misdemeanors; driving on a DUI suspended license, first offense, a Class B misdemeanor; and rear license not illuminated, a violation. He was sentenced to five years in prison.

• Tammy Michelle Poynter, 41, of Richmond, was sentenced to five years’ probation for first-degree possession of heroin, first offense, and first-degree promoting contraband, both Class D felonies, and first-degree persistent felony offender.

• Elijah Aaron Rust, 23, of Independence, pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree promoting contraband, a Class D felony. He was sentenced to 2½ years' probation.

• Frankie E. Stigers Jr., 46, of Frankfort, was sentenced to five years in prison for theft of identity of another without consent and five counts of second-degree forgery, both Class D felonies. He also violated his probation and was sentenced to an additional 11 years in prison from a case in another jurisdiction. The sentences will be served consecutively.

• Matthew Suter, 28, of Frankfort, pleaded guilty to second-degree assault, a Class C felony, and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a Class D felony. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
