The following calls were received by the Frankfort Police Department, Frankfort Fire and EMS and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office on Monday:

• An assault was reported at 12:03 a.m. on Ridgewood Lane. The caller reported that a man was knocking on his door claiming that his roommate had assaulted him. He asked for police to be called but declined treatment by emergency responders.

• A theft was reported at 2:07 a.m. on Landings Drive.

• A motor vehicle accident was reported at 3:01 a.m. on Evergreen Road. No one was injured.

• A theft was reported at 8:06 a.m. on Highview Circle.

• A motor vehicle accident was reported at 9:09 a.m. on Sower Boulevard. No one was injured.

• A structure fire was reported at 10:01 a.m. on Donna Drive. The caller reported that a fire started in his stove and black smoke began filling the house. He evacuated the home. Fire crews had the fire under control within 18 minutes of getting the call.

• An assault was reported at 10:30 a.m. on Schenkel Lane. No further information was provided.

• An armed and dangerous person was reported at 10:41 a.m. on West Second Street. The complainant reported that someone pulled a pellet gun at the soup kitchen. The subject fled the scene before police arrived.

• A motor vehicle accident was reported at 11:46 a.m. on East Main Street. No one was injured.

• A theft was reported at 12:22 p.m. on Highview Circle.

• A theft was reported at 12:23 p.m. on Commercial Drive.

• A structure fire was reported at 4:08 p.m. on Holmes Street. The caller reported that tree limbs had fallen on a power line during the storms and a tree appeared to be “getting ready to catch fire.”

• A structure fire was reported at 5:55 p.m. on Pinnacle Court. The caller reported that an oven caught on fire, but the fire was extinguished before fire crews arrived.

• A drug offense was reported at 6:35 p.m. on Schenkel Lane. The caller told officers that a woman in charge of construction at an apartment in Country Hills apartments was smuggling in drugs from her home state of Indiana.

• A burglary was reported at 7:25 p.m. on Melvin Drive. The caller reported that a person broke out their a window. A male and female were arrested.

• An assault was reported at 8:26 p.m. on Wilkinson Boulevard. A man reported that he’d been assaulted the night prior. No further information was provided.

• A theft was reported at 8:45 p.m. on Cline Street.

• A drug offense was reported at 8:46 p.m. on Marlowe Court. The caller reported that several males were outside of an apartment at Hickory Hills smoking marijuana. The group reportedly was drinking and getting loud, “talking about the warrants they have in other counties.”

• A shoplifting was reported at 10:50 p.m. on Holmes Street.

• A theft was reported at 11:49 p.m. on Louisville Road.

• A fire investigation was reported at 11:54 p.m. on Cardwell Lane. The caller reported that some people across the street were pouring gasoline on wood to create an explosion. Officers arrived and advised of controlled burn laws.
