The following calls were received by the Frankfort Police Department, Frankfort Fire and EMS and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday:

• A vehicle fire was reported at 5:33 a.m. on Versailles Road. The caller reported seeing a “semi with a lot of smoke coming out of it” near the dollar store. Officers found that it was steam, not smoke.

• A stolen vehicle was reported at 10:04 a.m. on Tierra Linda Drive.

• A fire investigation was reported at 11:21 a.m. on Cardwell Lane. The caller reported that a home in area was smoking and the fumes smelled like plastic.

• A theft was reported at 3:15 p.m. on Holmes Street. The caller reported that someone was running power cords from his residence to a vacant house nearby.

• A motor vehicle accident was reported at 6:50 p.m. on Versailles Road. No one was injured.

• An intoxicated driver was reported at 7:49 p.m. on East Main Street.

• A theft was reported at 7:56 p.m. on East Georgetown Road. The caller reported that a weed trimmer and gas can had been taken from his residence at Capital Mobile Home Park.

• An assault was reported at 9:24 p.m. on Hickory Drive. The caller reported that someone assaulted him and his lip was bleeding. Officers reported the complainant was very intoxicated.

• A drug offense was reported at 9:37 p.m. on Louisville Road. The caller reported that a female was “shooting up in a car” outside Marathon Food Mart with a baby in the vehicle. The car then left the premises.
