Brittany Braden

A Frankfort native recently presented her research in Spain. 

Dr. Brittany Blair Braden, the daughter of Bill and Mariane Braden, spoke at the Neuroscience of Mindfulness Conference in Madrid, Spain. Her talk was titled "The neural correlates of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction in chronic back pain patients and adults with autism spectrum disorder."

Braden, who graduated from Western Hills High School, is an assistant professor in speech and hearing science at Arizona State University and is director of the Autism and Brain Aging Laboratory. She received her bachelor's of science in psychology from the University of Kentucky and her doctorate in behavioral neuroscience from Arizona State University.
