Submit a Letter to the Editor
The State Journal encourages readers to submit letters to the editor for publication by noon Wednesday for the following Sunday’s paper. Letters are limited to 300 words and must be the original work of the writer (no form letters), be signed, and include the writer’s full name, address and daytime phone number. The address and phone number are for verification purposes only and will not be published.
Editors reserve the right to refuse or edit any letter, and to limit the number published by frequent letter writers. The quickest and most direct way to submit letters to the editor is by email to the address: firstname.lastname@example.org. Letters may also be mailed to: The State Journal, 1216 Wilkinson Blvd., Frankfort, KY 40601; or faxed to 502-227-2831.
