Franklin County graduate and University of Kentucky golfer Jacob Cook will be caddying for Chip McDaniel this week in the Travelers Championship at TCP River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut.

Cook caddied for McDaniel, a former UK golfer, at the U.S. Open last weekend at Pebble Beach, California.

After finishing Sunday’s round, McDaniel and Cook flew cross country so McDaniel could play in a qualifying round for one of four spots in the Travelers Championship.

McDaniel shot a 67 at Ellington Ridger Country Club in Ellington, Connecticut, and earned a spot in the Travelers Championship in a playoff.
