Western Hills’ girls soccer team lost to Great Crossing 3-2 Wednesday in Georgetown.

The match was tied 2-2 at the end of regulation and went to first to overtime and then a penalty kick shootout, won by Great Crossing.

Ella Davis scored both of WHHS’ goals, and Kristin Tucker hit a penalty kick in overtime.

WHHS (6-3-1) plays its next match Saturday morning at Sower Soccer Complex against Scott County.
