Frankfort Parks & Recreation Opportunities for Seniors

It’s summer and time to make use of the lovely park facilities in Frankfort. Jacki Hedger, representative from Frankfort Parks & Recreation Department, will explain all the opportunities the parks department has for seniors at 10 a.m.




Friends from Bluegrass Care Navigators will call those winning numbers and provide prizes for bingo at 10 a.m.

Pot Luck and Variety Show

Bring a dish to share at 5 p.m. pot luck dinner. Then stay for the variety show at 6 p.m.



Bonnie & Ronnie to play

Bonnie Reeves and Ronnie Martin will play all your favorite rock and roll tunes — and more at 10 a.m.



Helping Hands Food Pantry Distribution

Part of God’s Pantry, the food distribution is open to any Franklin County resident 18 years of age or older. The pantry opens at 10 a.m. 



Military History Museum

Ride the center bus to the old Arsenal or meet the group there to tour the KY Military History Museum at 10 a.m. The museum entrance fee is $8 per person or $6 per veteran. If you ride the bus, it will return to the center in time for lunch.
