Forks of Elkhorn hosting Homecoming 231 May 31-June 2
Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church is celebrating Homecoming 231 May 31-June 2.
From 6-8 p.m. on May 31 the little church will be open for “Prayer Time @ the Chapel.”
On June 1, from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., the Capital City Classic Auto Club and Frankfort Mustangs Club will host the second annual Bill Godby Memorial Car Show. There will be cars on display, music, a fish fry and cake walk. Admission is free. Car registration is $20 and trophies will be presented.
June 2 is “Celebration Sunday” with guest speaker Dakotah Euton, the Central Kentucky Fellowship of Christian Athletes assistant area director. There will be a fellowship meal immediately following the second service and at 2:15 p.m. a brief wreath-laying ceremony will take place at the grave of Forks’ founding father and first pastor, Rev. William Hickman.

The Joymakers concert set June 1
The Joymakers will be in concert at First Church of God, 1029 Burlington Lane, on Saturday, June 1 at 7 p.m.
Everyone is invited to the free concert. A love offering will be received.
St. Paul United Methodist hosts bilingual service each month
There will be a bilingual worship service at 7 p.m. June 4 at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1800 Louisville Road (across the highway from LeCompte-Johnson-Taylor Funeral Home). First Tuesday at the Table or Primer Martes a la Mesa, is a brief, informal service offered every first Tuesday of the month. Holy Communion is offered in both Spanish and English. All ages are invited. The potluck supper is served between 6 and 7 p.m.
VBS planned at East Frankfort Baptist
East Frankfort Baptist Church will host Vacation Bible School every Wednesday in June and July from 5:30-8 p.m.
VBS is for those in kindergarten through fifth grade. The church is located at 457 Versailles Road.

North Frankfort Baptist Church will host Vacation Bible School at 6 p.m. June 17-19.
The theme is “Mission: Possible” and children ages 3-12 are welcome to attend. The church is located at 7945 Owenton Road.

First Church of God, 1029 Burlington Lane, is offering its Food Pantry the third Thursday of each month from 3:30-5 p.m. You must be a resident of Franklin County and have a valid driver’s license or photo ID.
Antioch Church Prophecy Wednesdays
The Antioch Church on Harvieland Road is emphasizing prophecy during its 6 p.m. Wednesday services. Israel, Jewish relations and political/current events, as they relate to Biblical prophecy, will be discussed. DVDs and YouTube presentations will be viewed as well. The services are open to the public.
