The Frankfort High School Drama Club has set the date for their annual summer drama camp. The camp will take place June 27-29 at Frankfort High School.

The three-day workshop will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday. The camp is led by Andrew Tippett, director of theatre at FHS, with the assistance of high school drama students.

Each session will feature acting instruction, theatre games and improvs. The campers will also work on an informal camp production.

“If you know a student in elementary or middle school, who is creative, has a vibrant imagination, and/or loves acting, this is a great opportunity for them,” Tippett said.

The campers’ work will be showcased for family and friends with a public performance at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The workshop is open to any student who has completed the first-eighth grades. The cost is $55 per participant; a special in-district rate is available for Second Street School students.

A light snack will be provided each day. Students are asked to bring a sack lunch from home on Saturday. Pre-registration is required. The online form can be found at or via their Facebook page:
