I'm amazed at how much I like the digital edition of The State Journal!
I am a lifelong reader of newspapers and a staunch supporter of responsible, professional journalism. I have subscribed to newspapers my entire adult life. When papers started going digital, I was determined to keep my print subscriptions.
Then Frankfort stopped accepting paper for recycling, and newspapers were filling my trash bin. Reluctantly, I switched my State Journal subscription from print to digital.
I quickly discovered that I enjoy reading the digital edition! The images and colors are vibrant. The print is an easy-to-read size on my desktop computer screen. Navigating from page to page is fast and easy. I even read the sports pages that I had always skipped in the print edition. Bonus — there's no guilt about throwing away so much paper.
If you're a diehard newspaper reader on the fence about switching from print to digital, I encourage you to give it a try. You might be as surprised as I am!
