Catherine Garrett Boone of Frankfort and Harrison Lee Hadaway of Lexington, were married on April 27 at the childhood home of the bride in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The ceremony was officiated by The Rev. Canon Mark A. Quay, St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Tuscaloosa, and Assistant Minister Stephen Vincent Reynolds, Meadowood Baptist Church, Amory, Mississippi.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Buford Boone Jr. of Tuscaloosa. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Buford Boone Sr. of Tuscaloosa and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Dickson Farrior Jr. of Hayneville, Alabama.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Ewing Hadaway of Macon, Mississippi. He is the grandson of the late Mr. Emmett Gray Hadaway and Mrs. Annette Ewing Hadaway of Macon, Mississippi, and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Milton Hartley of Tupelo, Mississippi, and Colonel and Mrs. Kenneth Wayne Smith of Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a custom lace and chiffon gown designed by Reem Acra, New York. The sleeved dress featured a sweetheart neckline and intricate pearl, crystal and lace embroidery. The bride also wore an 1880 chapel length handmade Bruges lace wedding veil and her third maternal great-grandmother’s lavalier.
The bride was attended by Caroline Boone Rockefeller of Little Rock, Arkansas, sister of the bride, as matron of honor and her bridesmaids Riley Frances Boone of Jackson, Wyoming, Morwenna Lytton Cobbold of London, England, Kelsi Marie Garson of New York, Katelyn Brooke Dagen of Memphis, Tennessee, Julia Darby Radcliff of Charlottesville, Virginia, Hillary Claire Strickland of New York, and Hayley Rachel Yeager of Charlotte, North Carolina.
The bridal party wore Monique L’huillier blush gowns. Petra Frances Smith of Boise, Idaho, served as the bride’s train attendant.
Martha Boone Lytton Cobbold of Knebworth, England, sister of the bride, Mary Lyman Lumpkin Boone of Alexander City, Alabama, and Cindy Sue Rickett Boone of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, served as honorary bridesmaids.
