Water Aerobics at Juniper Hill Aquatic Center
Join center members at Juniper Hill Family Aquatic Center or come to the center early and ride the bus to Juniper Hill for water aerobics at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The bus will pick up at the center at 9:30 a.m. and return to the Center about 10:45 a.m.
Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest
Today is the annual watermelon seed spitting contest. Whoever can spit the farthest is the winner! After the contest, join our friends from Dominion Frankfort as they host an old-fashioned ice cream social at 10 a.m.
Smoke Alarms for Hearing Impaired
The city has received a grant to provide fire alarms to qualified hard of hearing applicants. Last month City Fire Marshal Gary Muller joined us to explain the devices. Today he will join us again to answer questions, explain the devices and help enroll qualified applicants at 10 a.m.

Helping Hands Food Pantry Distribution
Part of God’s Pantry, the food distribution is open to any Franklin County resident 18 years of age or older. The pantry opens at 10 a.m.
Party Night Dinner Dance with ageless Country
After dining on heavy hors d’oeuvres and dessert, sit back and enjoy the music of Ageless Country from 5-8 p.m. Dance to your favorite tunes or just hum along. Call the center, 502-223-5794, to sign up. The cost is $10 per person.
Bingo with friends from dominion Frankfort
Friends from Dominion Frankfort will call those winning numbers and provide prizes at 10 a.m.
Join the center’s Relay for Life team
Capital City Activity Center will sponsor a relay team for Relay for Life from 5-10 p.m. at the Kentucky State University Exum Center. Call the center, 502-223-5794, to sign up to be on the relay team or to donate money to the team. Join us to support the center relay team. And if you’re a cancer survivor member, plan to come early to participate in the survivor’s walk or caregiver’s walk.
